Of course, you do not have infinite chakra. Your chakra varies based on your rank. The basic amount of chakra for every rank is:
Genin(D): 150
Chuunin(C): 200
Special Jounin(B): 250
Jounin(A): 300
Sannin(S): 350
Kage(SS): 400
Jutsu costs chakra. The amount of chakra a jutsu costs for every rank is:
E: 5
D: 10
C: 15
B: 20
A: 25
S: 30
SS: 40+
Now just because you're a Genin and you have 150 chakra does not mean that you can use S-rank jutsu. Every rank can only use jutsu up to their own rank or one rank higher.
After using a jutsu in a post you spoiler it and put the remaining amount of Chakra left.
IE: 120/150
And as an added note: once your chakra pool has diminished to the point of 10 chakra or less; you're reached the point of exhaustion. At 10 chakra, you will be lucky to be conscious; below that you are automatically unconscious.
